Lewis Johnson and Brian Frazier, of Boy Scout Troop 478 at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, recently became Eagle Scouts.

They are the 97th and 98th Eagle Scouts under the direction of Steve Beatty, a scoutmaster for 35 years.

For his project, Lewis managed volunteers at the Caledonian Society’s Highland Games. Lewis will be a senior this fall at Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in Natchitoches. His parents are Summer Dann, of Baton Rouge, and Scott Johnson, of Moses Lake, Washington.

Brian refurbished the fire hydrants in the Sherwood Forest subdivision for his project. He will be a senior this fall at Denham Springs High School. His parents are Eric and Jeri Frazier, of Baton Rouge.

Both boys will attend Northern Tier High Adventure, a back country Canadian canoe trip, this summer.
