Someone is holding a winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million that was purchased in St. Francisville.

The winning ticket was purchased at the State Line Food Mart at 15169 U.S. 61, Louisiana Lottery spokeswoman Kelly Spell said Monday.

Spell said no one has claimed the prize.

The person who purchased the winning ticket picked five of the six Powerball numbers chosen Saturday night, or all five white ball numbers, but not the Powerball number, Spell said.

The person who purchased the winning ticket won what’s known as the Match 5 Prize, Spell said.

The full jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball was $279 million.

No one hit the Powerball jackpot Saturday so it grew to $350 million for Wednesday’s drawing, Spell said.

That’s the third-largest Powerball jackpot ever and the second jackpot over $300 million this year.

The largest Powerball jackpot ever won was $587.5 million in November.
