The YWCA Greater Baton Rouge announced Monday that ARAMARK will be donating daily housekeeping and sanitizing services at all three YWCA Early Head Start early care and education centers.

YWCA Early Head Start Centers serve children from birth to 3 years old from families at or below the poverty level.

“YWCA Early Head Start is a good steward of its federal and local funding, yet budgets are tight, especially with the impact of sequestration, resulting in a cut of $106,000 in funding beginning April 1, 2013,” Jennifer A. Shoub, YWCA chief operating officer, said in a news release.

“We welcome ARAMARK’s contribution and are grateful beyond measure for what this means for our ability to maintain such high-quality services.”

Charlotte Provenza, YWCA Early Head Start Director, agreed.

“Our expertise is the care and education of our babies and their families’ education and support. To have ARAMARK’s facility expertise is an amazing gift to all those we serve,” she said.
