The Animal Control Center, 2680 Progress Road, has plenty of adoptable animals of every age, size and type. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Adoptable pets also are offered to the public at weekly off-site locations listed at http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org. Adoption off-site locations also available by calling (225) 205-9330. The center is closed on Sundays and holidays. Prior to adoption, all animals are spayed, neutered, given microchip identification implants, vaccinated and provided with rabies voucher.
