Baton Rouge Police arrested two men for their involvement in the death of 21-year-old Justin Guillory on June 11, said spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, in a press release.

Keith Brown, 20, and Devonte Haynes, 23, were booked Thursday night into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison — Brown on one count of second-degree murder and Haynes on one count of accessory to second-degree murder, the release said.

Baton Rouge police responded at 8:05 p.m. on June 11 to the 5100 block of Osborne Avenue, where Guillory, 7821 Videt Polk Drive, was fatally wounded by gunfire, McKneely said.

Brown, of 1854 North St., and Haynes, of 18041 Hoo Shoo Too Road, attacked Guillory while he was sitting in his vehicle after an argument between Guillory and Brown two weeks prior, Mckneely said later in the release. Guillory was shot multiple times to the upper torso and died at the scene.

Crimestoppers assisted in fielding tips during the investigations, McKneely said.
