Ask The Advocate: Traffic, traffic everywhere! _lowres

Advocate staff photo by JOHN BALLANCE -- The $12 million project to improve the intersection of Nicholson and Brightside is still in the review stage but is expected to go to bid this spring or summer.

The Metro Council agreed Wednesday to refinance bonds, which will bring an extra $40 million to speed up a handful of road improvement projects in Mayor-President Kip Holden’s Green Light Plan.

The projects affected are planned improvements to O’Neal Lane, Jones Creek Road, Glen Oaks Drive, Nicholson Drive and the Highland-Burbank connector.
