Students participate in Young Entrepreneurs camp at LSMSA _lowres

Baton Rouge students Justin Wu, Kendall Comeaux and Ian Tassin took part in the second annual Young Entrepreneurs camp for ninth- and 10th-graders at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in Natchitoches on June 22-26.

Program facilitators were Mary Ellen Slayter, CEO of Reputation Capital Media Services, a content marketing firm based in Baton Rouge, and Logan Leger, founder and CEO of NewAperio, a Web and mobile app development firm in Baton Rouge.

Students focused on idea generation, marketing/sales, operations and finance. On the final day, the students presented their ideas to a panel of judges in Baton Rouge.

Each day also included a presentation by a guest speaker.
