The Livingston Parish 9-1-1 center has been forced to relocate to the parish's emergency operations center as flood water overtook the call center, according to sheriff Jason Ard.

Officials are still able to take calls.

'We had to physically move our operations from our long-time location on S Satsuma Rd to the Parish Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at the Livingston Parish Governmental Building," Ard said. "No interruption in service has been experienced. At this early hour, rescue operations continue...."
