Greater Sixty Aid Baptist Church will celebrate its 138th anniversary with a service at 8 a.m. Sunday.

The public is invited to help the church celebrate its long history.

Woodlawn alum earns spot on LSU snare drum line

Woodlawn High School band fans were excited to hear that Cameron Cerniglia, a 2014 Woodlawn graduate, was selected to the LSU snare drum line.

The Bluebonnet branch of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library hosts adult computer classes throughout the year.

Learn how to use some of the latest tech gadgets during a Tech Toy Box program at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library.

If you have an iPad, laptop, tablet, smart phone or eReader, you can use the library’s Digital Library to read books and magazines, learn new languages, download music and audio books, study for tests and develop career skills.

Just bring your devices to the library for help from the library’s staff with several digital resources.
