  • RED STICK MOBILE FARMERS MARKET: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Delmont Service Center, 3525 Riley St., and noon to 2 p.m., Dr. Leo S. Butler Community Center, 950 Washington St. The mobile farmers market will provide wellness resources and food options.
  • POLICY LUNCHEON: Noon, Camelot Club, Chase Tower South, 451 Florida St. The discussion topic is “After the Cleanup: Maximizing the Restore Act Windfall and Preserving Louisiana’s Coast.” Guest speakers will be Simone Champagne, Garret Graves, Daniel Rothschild and Jerome Zeringue. Admission is $25.
  • SONGFEST COMPETITION: 3 p.m., Pete Maravich Assembly Center, LSU Campus. The event is a dance competition and fund raiser. Tickets are $11 in advance, $15 at the door. Call (225) 254-7480.
  • ALL CITY TEEN POETRY FESTIVAL: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Baton Rouge Community College, 201 Community College Drive. The event will be held in the Black Box Theater. Admission is $5.
  • ZUMBA IN THE LAWN: 5 p.m., North Boulevard Town Square. The YMCA will host the free exercise class.
  • TUTORING: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Broadmoor Presbyterian Church’s Naylor Building, 9340 Florida Blvd. Qualified tutors provide free one-on-one tutoring for middle and high school students. Students and accompanying adults should arrive 10 minutes early to register. Call (225) 924-4271.
  • ROCK N ROWE: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Perkins Rowe Town Square Park, 10202 Perkins Rowe. The Justin Adams Band will perform at the free concert.
  • L’AUBERGE SUNSET SOCIETY: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Rooftop pool, L’auberge Casino and Hotel, 777 L’Auberge Ave. There will be live entertainment and drink specials. Admission is $10, guests must be 21 years old, photo ID required.
