Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry is young. He’s charismatic.

And he’s very good at his job.

The former LSU Tiger and Lutcher Bulldog returned a punt 69 yards for a touchdown Sunday to save the Dolphins in an otherwise uninspiring opener against the Redskins, according to a report at miamiherald.com.

Now, the Dolphins’ marketing department is taking advantage of emerging star’s appeal by making him an ambassador to the community at large. On Tuesday, he spoke at a Miami-area high school about the importance of saving and managing money.

He speaks from experience.

Landry says he never wants his children or his children’s children to go through the financial struggles he experienced growing up in the small Louisiana town of Convent.
