The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge has announced its fall Sunday in the Park season.
The free outdoor concert series is held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Boulevard Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge, two blocks from the Mississippi River.
The lineup is as follows:

Oct . 11: Brass-A-Holics
Oct . 18: Sean Ardoin
Oct . 25: Linsey Cardinale Band
Nov . 1: Rusty Yates Band
Nov . 8: After8.
“This great, free music program allows people from all over the city to enjoy a diverse array of quality music while enjoying an outdoor setting,” said Renee Chatelain, president and CEO of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

Movies & Music on the Lawn
Baton Rouge Gallery, 1515 Dalrymple Drive, will show the 2012 film “Blancanieves” (PG-13), with a score from the Lafayette- and Baton Rouge-based band Burris, at 8 p.m. Sept. 25.
Spanish director Pablo Berger’s film re-imagines Snow White as the daughter of a bullfighter who follows in her father’s footsteps and meets a band of bullfighters who make up for their lack of height in spirited ways.
Admission is free for gallery members and $7 for nonmembers and includes free, unlimited popcorn.
Library movie matinees
The matinee movie for adults at Jones Creek Regional Branch Library this weekend is “The Tale of Despereaux,” rated G.
Show times are at 1 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Popcorn and punch will be served.
Perler bead keychains
Teens can flex their creative muscle to create custom-made keychains with Perler beads from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Jones Creek library.
In honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, children ages 4 through 8 will be treated to a reading of “How I Became a Pirate” by Melinda Long at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jones Creek library.
After the story, kids will build a pirate ship in the Lego R Junior Maker Program. The ships will be displayed at the library following the program.

Monday movie pajama party
Kids, put on your favorite PJs and bring your own snacks to the Jones Creek library for a movie pajama party at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The movie is “James and the Giant Peach,” rated PG, based on the novel by Roald Dahl.
All ages are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Call (225) 756-1140 to register.
Adults can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a few rounds of Fiesta Bingo at the Jones Creek library from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Prizes will be awarded.
