The Parkview Baptist Middle School track teams won the Tangi Tourism Invitational Meet held April 12 at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond.
The girls team dominated the competition, while the boys edged out Trafton Academy in the final two events of the meet, a news release from the school said.
The girls team claimed four first-place finishes, three second-place finishes and six third-place finishes.
The boys took home four first-place finishes, four second-place finishes and two third-place finishes.
In the girls division, Sydney LaFleur was first in the 100 and 200 meters. Ariel Pedigo was second in the 1,600 and third in the 800, high jump and discus throw.
Madison Lee also took second in the 400 and third in the 1,600 and long jump. Hannah Pedigo was second in the 55-meter hurdles, while Shea Lee took third in the 400.
Taking first place in the relays was the 4x100 relay team of Jana Guercio, Shea Lee, Hanah Pedigo and LaFleur and the 4x400 relay team of Guercio, Shea Lee, Hannah Pedigo and Madison Lee.
In the boys division, Alex Vega won the 1,600 and Kai Hensley was first in the 55 hurdles and 200. He also took second in the long jump and third in the high jump.
Isaac Ponder was second in the 1,600, Christian Wales was second in the 800 and 1,600, and Jude Blouin took third in the 200.
Also taking first was the 4x400 relay team of Luke Sunseri, Ponder, Blouin and Wales.
