Deputy Nick Tullier's fiance, Danielle Mcnicoll, posted a video Monday showing Tullier speaking the word "Hello" during therapy at the Houston hospital where he is undergoing rehabilitation.

Mcnicoll titled her Facebook post, "Our miracle today!"

Tullier, a parish deputy shot by a gunman on July 17 in Baton Rouge, has been undergoing therapy at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

In the video, a woman off camera repeatedly encourages Tullier to speak the word, singing the word several times. Once he says "Hello," she responds, "That's it!"

In March, Mcnicoll posted a video showing Tullier maneuvering a power wheelchair outside the hospital.
