An 18,400-square-foot office building in the Cloverland Industrial Park has sold for $960,000 to a group of local investors.
Fieldstone LLC of Baton Rouge purchased the building at 6032 Fieldstone in a deal that closed Friday, said Ben Graham of Sperry Van Ness | Graham, Langlois & Legendre. Graham represented the buyer, while Joe Moore with ReMax First represented the seller, Safety Connection Inc.
The building is divided into eight suites and has a number of tenants, including Safety Connection, which sells fall protection equipment; Student Movers; Sherwater Media Services, a property management company; and R&R Roofing. All but one of the suites is leased, Graham said. The new owners plan to make some “light improvements” such as fixing cosmetic items and taking care of projects that had been delayed.
“The Cloverland area has been very active lately and this property represents a good value and return for the buyer,” Graham said.
Last month, Relief Windows bought a 7,300-square-foot building at on Pennywood Avenue for $600,000, and in September Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry sold three Cloverland buildings totaling nearly 14,000 square feet for $1.2 million.
