If you're a Capital One Bank customer, you likely haven't been able to check your checking account balance or do any of your banking online Friday because of a prolonged online banking outage.
[Update, 5:59 p.m.: Capital One is telling customers their engineers are still troubleshooting the issue, and some users are able to login via the website.]
According to Capital One, the company acknowledged at 8:45 a.m. that "we are aware of difficulties with logging into our full site and app."
As of 12:30 p.m., the outage was ongoing, and customers were growing frustrated, pelting questions at the company's Twitter account, which has been responding to some of questions.
"There is no ETA," the company is telling customers.
Capital One has more than 100 branches in Louisiana in addition to New York, New Jersey, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
