American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge announced the winners of its annual American Advertising Awards recognizing outstanding creativity in advertising. It also honored two members and a corporation for their service.

The E.A. “Pete” Goldsby Silver Medal Award was presented to Steve Davison, a partner at Greenview Designs, for his dedication to the advertising community through his contribution of time and for serving on the board of directors and chairing numerous committees.

Maggie Bowles, of Visit Baton Rouge, received the 2016 President’s Service Award and was recognized for co-hosting a highly successful media auction fundraiser.

Lamar Graphics received the 2016 Company Service Award for its outstanding contributions toward the organization throughout the years.

More than 70 local agencies, individuals and students entered the Addy awards competition, with a total of nearly 600 entries.

The Overall Best of Show professional winner was BRZoom for “Maestro Dobel Diamante ‘Drum’ VAP.” Best of Show winners by category are Integrated Campaign to MESH Integrated Marketing and Advertising for “Friends of the Animals … best friend”; Interactive to Hatchit for “10 Days”; Broadcast to Neighbors Federal Credit Union for “Louisiana Purchase”; Print to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center marketing and communications for “One Day Everyday-Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System 2015 Annual Report”; Copywriting to Zehnder Communications for “Seasoned, Saturday, Swamp” print campaign; and Art Direction to Woman’s Hospital and Digital FX for “Get Ready TV.”

Special Judge’s Awards went to tommysTV for “Artist on Artist”; Harris Deville & Associates for “House Brochure”; and Digital FX for “Fundraising Video.”
