Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge plans to open its second ReStore, at 10300 Perkins Road, behind the Ethan Allen furniture store, by the end of 2015.

The new location will have 22,000 square feet and allow ReStore to reach potential customers and donors in the southeastern part of the city, said Executive Director Lynn Clark. Habitat for Humanity began looking for a second location after a market study showed that part of the city could support a second ReStore.

Habitat is leasing the space from Ethan Allen Interiors owner Todd Grand.

Habitat’s first ReStore, at 4301 Airline Highway, opened in 2003. The store has grossed more than $5 million in that time.
