The Manor House, a 40-unit apartment complex across from Cortana Mall, has been sold for $900,000.
Gardere Capital Investments LLC bought the complex in a deal that was filed Monday with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s office. The seller was Adams Rental Properties LLC.
Gardere Capital is headed up by Dr. Brett Rabel, a Baker dentist who owns about 40 apartment buildings in the Gardere Lane area, said Justen Rider, an agent with Paragon Properties, who represented the buyer. Kim Miller, of C.J. Brown Realtors, represented the seller.
Manor House was 95 percent occupied at the time of the sale, Rider said. Rabel plans to make some improvements to the complex, which was built in the 1960s, such as installing a new roof.
