A free workshop on “OSHA Compliance for the Construction Industry – Writing Safety Plans” will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the Goodwood Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd.
The program is part of Mayor-President Kip Holden’s Business with Baton Rouge small business opportunity program. It is the third of five programs in the 2014 Next Level Training Education series.
Corey S. Gaines, an OSHA consultation supervisor with the Louisiana Workforce Commission, will participate in the program.

The next two programs are April 28 titled “EBR’s Small Business Loan Fund” and May 19 titled “Emergency Business Preparedness and Business Continuity.”
The series is co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and SCORE, a nonprofit organization that mentors small businesses.
