A permit has been issued for a nearly 9,700-square-foot office building in south Baton Rouge that will be a “one-stop shop” for financial needs.
Wolfe Washauer, who co-owns Wolfe & Goux with Martin Goux, said the building will house SRS Wealth Management, along with an estate attorney, a certified public accounting firm and a property-casualty insurance business. SRS currently has its offices at 3636 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd.
According to the permit, the two-story building has an estimated value of $900,000. It’s being built on a 1.8 acres of undeveloped land Washauer and Goux bought in April for $218,011.
Washauer said the property is about to be stripped, but it was too early to give a projected opening date for the office building.
