The Times Grill at 5207 Essen Lane in Baton Rouge has closed.
The restaurant shut down Sunday, said a person who answered the phone at Times Grill Monday morning. He referred all calls to the company’s corporate headquarters in Mandeville.
Times Grill has been in Baton Rouge since the mid-2000s. The causal dining restaurant is know for its chargrilled hamburgers, topped with everything from bacon and pepperjack cheese, to fried eggs and chorizo con queso. The restaurant had a location off Jones Creek Road that closed several years ago.
Officials with Times Grill said there are no plans to open another Baton Rouge restaurant. There are still times Times Grills in Mandeville and Slidell.
