The Greater Baton Rouge Clean Cities Coalition will celebrate the use of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles at an event 12:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Capitol Park Welcome Center at 702 North River Road in Baton Rouge.

The event is among more than 160 being held as part of National Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day Odyssey.

The local event includes a clean fuel symposium and vehicle expo. Panel topics include state tax credits and the Lafayette compressed natural gas success story.

Registration is available online for $25; the expo, from 4:30-6:30, is free.
