The chairman of Whole Foods Market will headline the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s 2015 shareholders meeting, set for 5:30 p.m. March 24 at L’Auberge Casino Hotel Baton Rouge.
John Elstrott, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from LSU, will share insights and experiences from his 40-year career as an entrepreneur. In addition to chairing Whole Foods, Elstrott is a past chair of the grocery chain’s audit committee and serves as emeritus executive director of the Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship at Tulane University’s A.B.
