Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar is introducing a free app that allows diners to listen to the audio feed from any TV in the restaurant on their smartphone.

The app will be available beginning Saturday at the four Walk-On’s locations in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette. After downloading the Tunity app, customers can point their smartphone at any TV in the restaurant and immediately start hearing the sound from the selected set. The restaurant will offer free earbuds, gift cards and prizes to customers who download the app Saturday.

Brandon Landry, co-owner and founder of Walk-On’s, said the app will be useful to customers watching sporting events or programming on one of the more than 100 TVs in the restaurant.

“We’re always looking for ways to upgrade the Walk-On’s experience,” Landry said. “We think Tunity is a game-changer.”
