A 4-acre tract of land at the corner of Perkins Road and Pecue Lane has been sold for $2.3 million.
Coastal Investment Enterprises LLC bought the land in a deal that was filed Tuesday with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s Office. Paul Pepitone, who is listed as a registered agent with Coastal Investment, would not discuss plans for the property.
Carlos Alvarez, with Alvarez Construction Co., which sold the land, said the site is zoned for office and retail usage. The property is one of five commercial tracts Alvarez Construction has in the Lakes at Jamestown, a development off Perkins, near Siegen Lane.
“We’re delighted for the sale,” Alvarez said. “We’re looking forward to working with future buyers.”
Alvarez said he doesn’t know what the new owners plan to do with the site.
Development of the Lakes at Jamestown is winding down. Currently, Jamestown Square, a section of the subdivision with 51 homes priced between $240,000 and $250,000, is being developed. “We’ve got about half of the lots sold already,” Alvarez said.
