The American Advertising Federation-Baton Rouge announced the winners of its annual American Advertising Awards recognizing outstanding creativity in advertising. It also honored two members and a corporation for their service.

The E.A. “Pete” Goldsby Silver Medal Award went posthumously to Jeff Wright, of Wright Feigley Communications, for contributions to the betterment of advertising and to the community.

Theresa Nguyen, of Rockit Science Agency, received the President’s Service Award, recognizing her service to AAF-BR.

Otey White & Associates Advertising Agency received the Company Service Award for outstanding contributions toward the advancement of the club.

More than 70 local agencies, individuals and students entered the annual American Advertising Awards competition, with a total of 431 entries.

The winners of the top professional awards are Overall Best of Show to TILT for its “Brew at the Zoo Campaign” with Best of Show category winners for Integrated Campaign to Lamar Advertising Co. for “Creative Camp”; Interactive to Covalent Logic for “Hilton Worldwide Connect Plus Idea Network Website”; Broadcast to the Louisiana Economic Development Department for “Job Love Video Campaign”; Print to dezinsInteractive for “CUT Fine Jewelers Business Card”; Copywriting to the Louisiana Economic Development Department for “Louisiana Job Connection Integrated Campaign”; and Art Direction to MESH for “Women’s Center for Wellness Campaign.”

Specials Judge’s Awards went to BREW Agency for “Wake Up Your Brand”; Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana for “Angel Award Program”; and BRZoom for “Two Roads Brewing Philsamic.”

In the student category, Best of Show went to the LSU School of Art for “BFA Recruiting Material.”

A Special Judge’s Award went to Alexande DeBlieux for “#HoldYourTongue.”

Local gold winners proceed to district competition, and winners there go to the national finals.
