A Sonic restaurant on Airline Highway in Prairieville has been sold for $595,000 in a deal that closed last week.

Adestra Properties LLC, represented by Giovanni and Donato Mucciacciaro, bought the property at 17734 Airline from Real Estate Partners of Prairieville, which is headed by Larry Tucker, the local Sonic franchisee.

Mark Hebert, of Kurz & Hebert Commercial Real Estate, who represented the buyers, said Sonic is relocating the Prairieville restaurant. Plans are for the restaurant to close at the end of the year. Kent Walker, of NAI/Latter & Blum β€” Donnie Jarreau, represented the sellers.

The new owners plan to relocate an undisclosed business from a shopping center they own into the Sonic spot. If that falls through, Hebert said they will look to lease the property to another business.

β€œIt was a good deal for both parties,” he said.
