Hemline, a New Orleans-based women’s clothing boutique, is set to open its second Baton Rouge location later this month in Towne Center at Cedar Lodge.
The new store will be two doors down from Whole Foods, in the space that had most recently been occupied by FeBe.
The new location will give Hemline 19 stores across the South including one at 16645 Highland Road, which opened shortly after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.
The Towne Center location will be owned by the husband and wife team of Muffy and Chris LeBlanc. Muffy LeBlanc was the original manager of the Highland Hemline; for the past seven years she has owned and operated the store on Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette.
Hemline opened in the French Quarter in 1994. The boutique specializes in clothing, accessories and shoes from a variety of local and national designers.
