Jill Henry has been named executive director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Louisiana chapter, raising awareness and funding for Type 1 diabetes.

Henry was marketing and client services director at public accounting firm Faulk & Winkler LLC.

Our Lady of the Lake College has named to its board of trustees Dan Borné, president of the Louisiana Chemical Association and chairman of the board of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana; Quentin L. Messer Jr., president and CEO of the New Orleans Business Alliance and board member of Nexus Louisiana; and Donna M. Saurage, a community activist and philanthropist who serves on the board of Community Coffee Co. BancorpSouth Insurance Services has named Aimee Kilpatrick as director of sales development.

Kilpatrick has been senior vice president of community insurance solutions and previously served as director of business operations and senior vice president of sales administration.


Thomson Smith & Leach Insurance Group has named Claudia Darden as branch manager of its Franklin location and Ann Bodkin-Smith as chief operations officer and sales director for the agency.

Darden was an account manager and producer with the agency. The San Pedro Sula, Honduras, native graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Bodkin-Smith was with CNA Insurance Co. as a field sales specialist, Deep South Insurance Services as a marketing director and Zurich North America as a senior sales executive.

The Philadelphia native earned a business administration and accountancy degree from Villanova University and a masters of business administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The Association of Junior Leagues International has named Lafayette native Terri Broussard Williams as at-large director on its board of directors.

Broussard Williams, of the Junior League of Austin, Texas, is vice president of government relations for the American Heart Association’s southwest affiliate overseeing policy efforts and staff in Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming. She is a graduate of the Manship School of Mass Communications at LSU and formerly a news producer for WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge.

IberiaBank Corp. has named to its board of directors Rick E. Maples, who retired after 31 years at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. Inc. and became a senior advisor to St. Louis-based Stifel Financial Corp. in January, and Eli Jones, dean of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and holder of the Peggy Pitman Mays Eminent Scholar Chair in business.

JD Bank has named Kevin Piker as vice president and commercial/agricultural lender at the Verot School Road branch in Lafayette.

Piker was vice president and business banking relationship manager III with JP Morgan Chase. The Louisiana native graduated from the University of New Orleans.

Entergy Nuclear has named Larry Coyle as chief operating officer. He was Indian Point Energy Center site vice president and will be working alongside Chief Operating Officers Donna Jacobs and John Ventosa overseeing a national fleet of 11 reactors in nine locations.

Courtney McCauley has been named an accounting and audit associate at Hymel & Ready CPAs and Advisors.

McCauley was an accounting supervisor at A Better Way Inc., a nonprofit in Berkeley, California. McCauley has a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University and holds a graduate certificate in accounting from Golden Gate University.
