Company launching hydrating mouth guard
Hydra-Guard, a new tenant in the Louisiana Business and Technology Center at LSU, will be launching and selling a hydrating mouth guard.
The mouth guard is capable of hydrating athletes throughout a game without the athletes leaving the field. It also can be used by industrial workers who are unable to take drinks into confined areas.
“Hydra-Guard is an excellent example of an innovator discovering the need for a product, and turning to the entrepreneurial side to create a product that can meet market needs,” LBTC Executive Director Charles D’Agostino said. “The resources of the LBTC at LSU Innovation Park can now help the company develop a business model that gives the company sustainability.”
Hydra-Guard plans to develop a business plan at the business incubator, establish distribution and get contracts for its product with multiple colleges.
