The Downtown Development District has released a development toolkit for downtown Baton Rouge with information for businesses and individuals looking at investing in the area.
The 16-page guide contains information about the demographics of downtown, incentives that are available for developers and the process for obtaining commercial permits.
This is the first time the DDD has assembled a development toolkit, said Davis Rhorer, executive director. “A lot of people are looking for this data and this is based on people asking us about things,” Rhorer said. The plan is for the DDD to keep the guide updated.
