The Louisiana Hospital Association has named Scott Cornwell as vice president of healthcare reimbursement and Greg Waddell as vice president of legal, governmental and regulatory affairs.

Cornwell was director of reimbursement for the Ochsner Healthcare System. Waddell was vice president of legal affairs and general counsel for the Louisiana State Medical Society.

Anne St. Romain Gauthier, chief financial officer of St. Romain Oil Co. LLC in Mansura, has been elected as secretary of the Louisiana Oil Marketers and Convenience Store Association.

Dr. Michael Fleming, chief medical officer for home health and hospice provider Amedisys Inc., has been named to the advisory board of Nashville-based health care predictive modeling company Medalogix.

Mark Drennen has been elected as chairman of Visit Baton Rouge. He represents the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.

Alex B. Lincoln has been named president of Fenstermaker.

He succeeds Kam Movassaghi, who retired.

Lincoln spent three years in Germany on assignment with Huels, a chemical and plastics corporation. He has worked in various industries including chemicals and plastic, transportation, petroleum, construction and pipeline.

NEW ORLEANS AREA

The Louisiana Consular Corps has elected as dean of the organization James R. Sutterfield, the honorary consul general of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Other officers are Consul General of France Grégor Trumel, vice dean; Honorary Consul of Iceland Greg Jamison Beuerman, secretary; and Honorary Consul of Korea William H. Langenstein III, treasurer.

The Louisiana Consular Corps represents 56 countries on five continents through the work of both honorary and career consuls. These consuls work to foster trade and commercial, educational and cultural exchange between the nations they represent and Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.

J.B. Hunt has been named executive director of New Orleans-based health agency AAAneurysm Outreach.

Hunt worked in management, fundraising, disaster response and board development with American Red Cross, recruiting and developing volunteer teams in four states.

Thomas E. Brenan, president of Altus Global Trade Solutions in Kenner, has been inducted as president of the International Association of Commercial Collectors.

Stanton F. McNeely III, vice chancellor for institutional advancement at Delgado Community College, has been elected president for the Algiers Economic Development Foundation.

Porteous, Hainkel and Johnson LLP has named as partners Matthew Mann in its Baton Rouge office and Darrin O’Connor in its Covington office.

Mann’s practice is primarily in civil defense and the defense of insurance companies.

O’Connor’s practice is focused on insurance defense, including first-party claims typically involving bad faith allegations and matters handled by the special investigative unit of a respective insurer.

Edward T. Hayes, a partner in Leake and Andersson LLP and honorary consul of Ukraine, has been appointed as chairman of the board of The World Trade Center of New Orleans.
