Paris-based engineering giant Technip has won a contract to develop the Odd Job field, which lies in deep water offshore from New Orleans.

Terms of the contract with Deep Gulf Energy II LLC were not disclosed. Under the agreement, Technip will be responsible for project management and engineering services, including making and installing 14 miles of insulated pipe flowline and 1.2 miles of steel riser, which connects subsea pipeline to platforms.

The field lies in water roughly 4,400 to 6,000 feet deep.
