New Iberia-based Teche Holding Co. reported earnings of $2 million, or 95 cents per share, for the three months ended June 30, the third quarter of the company’s fiscal year.

The company earned $1.7 million, or 83 cents per share, a year earlier.

Teche was helped by the reclassification of a deferred interest payment, which resulted in a one-time, after-tax earnings boost of 8 cents per share.

Stock analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters has forecast earnings of 80 cents per share.
