Dr. Paula Rhode Brantley has joined the faculty of Baton Rouge General‘s internal medicine residency program and will serve as director of curriculum and scholarly activity. She was with the family medicine residency program at East Jefferson General Hospital in New Orleans.

Baton Rouge General is affiliated with and also serves as a satellite campus of Tulane University School of Medicine and serves as a satellite campus for Tulane medical students.

Kean Miller LLP has named G. Blane Clark Jr. as managing partner, overseeing the law firm’s offices in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lake Charles. Partners Carey J. Messina, A. Edward Hardin Jr. and John F. Jakuback were elected to the firm’s management committee serving with Clark and Linda G. Rodrigue. The law firm also named as partners Jason R. Brown and Victor J. Suane Jr., both in the Baton Rouge office.

Clark is a partner in the Baton Rouge office and will maintain his practice in business, corporate, mergers and acquisition, and transactional law.

Brown’s practice is in state and local tax, business and corporate groups. Suane practices in the environmental and litigation groups.

Traci S. Thompson and Eric Landry have been named partners at Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson LLP.

Both are associates in the Baton Rouge office. Thompson is a member of the firm’s health-care section. Landry’s practice includes corporate advisory services, banking and finance, business, real estate and health-care transactions.

Lucas Molbert has been named general manager of Galatoire’s Bistro. Molbert previously managed Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Baton Rouge and served as dining room and beverage manager at the Baton Rouge Country Club.


AAA Signs in Lafayette has named Melinda Lejeune Usrey as director of business development and Dereck Sonnier as director of design and graphic arts. Usrey was senior estimator at Bedford Reinforced Plastics. Sonnier was Stines’ project coordinator manager.


Ray Cornelius, partner at Adams and Reese LLP, has been named president of the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association.
