Cox is working to fix an issue with fiber-optic services that is affecting about 24 Cox Business customers in Baton Rouge.
The customers have been experiencing intermittent problems with their fiber service since Tuesday. The problem is related to a piece of equipment in the network that Cox is trying to repair, said Sharon Bethea, a spokeswoman for the cable, Internet and phone company.
“Our platform is stable, but we are continuing to work internally and with our vendors for a fix,” Bethea said. Cox is working to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
