Four finalists will pitch business ideas in the Fourth Annual Venture Challenge being held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday by the LSU Student Incubator program at the Louisiana Business & Technology Center at the Lod Cook Hotel.

The four finalists were selected from among 17 student teams that submitted business plans. They are competing for a share of $25,000 going to the four Venture Challenge finalists and two businesses from a coinciding Startup Showcase.

Finalists are:

UNITED AERIAL: It is an on-site monitoring company that uses emerging technology for aerial data collection through the use lightweight unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs.

IMPOSSIBLE INNOVATIONS: It is one of under 30 veterinary prosthetics companies in the world.

DANIEL OUTDOORS: It designs, manufactures and sells hunting equipment, including deer stands, buck brackets, game camera stands and squirrel skinners.

MASHBALL: It is a patent-pending toss game.
