Baton Rouge-based Tin Roof Brewing Co. said Friday it will release an officially licensed LSU beer in time for the 2016 football season, and the company wants Tiger fans to help decide the flavor.

“We’ve created a slate of 8-10 test batches of various styles to sample in a blind tasting panel,” said Tin Roof co-founder William McGehee. “Each recipe was designed with the types of activities that LSU fans enjoy, such as tailgating and grilling out. The panel will be made up of these fans and they will determine the winning style that we’ll brew.”

Participants in the tasting panel must be at least 21, apply on the survey page through, and be available either June 14 or June 18. Applications will be from Friday until June 8. Those chosen will be notified on June 10.
