Alan Broxson has been named manager of the new instrumentation and electrical division at Danos in Larose.
Danos recently acquired I&E company API Control System Solutions.
Broxson has held senior-level management positions with CAMCO, Baker Hughes, NATCO and Weatherford in the U.S., United Kingdom, Middle East and Asia Pacific areas.
Eve B. Masinter, a partner at Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, has been appointed to the board of directors of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
The nearly 100-year-old organization has 2,500 invitation-only members.
André Allen has joined GCR Inc. in New Orleans as information and cyber security manager. Allen was chief information security officer for the city of Houston.
The Loews New Orleans Hotel has named Loris Menfi as general manager; Zach Fazzio as sales manager; and Nicki Fourroux as senior sales manager.
Menfi was manager of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel and previously was with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., with the Ritz Carlton New Orleans among the hotels where she worked.
Fazzio was previously with Hilton Hotels. Fourroux was at the Windsor Court Hotel.
The Greater New Orleans Foundation has named to its board of trustees Gayle B. Benson, a community activist who serves on the boards of the Ochsner Health Foundation and Tulane University; Rita O. Gue, president of the Arlene and Joseph Meraux Foundation in St. Bernard Parish; and Lynes R. “Poco” Sloss, president of Bellwether Technology.
Also, the foundation promoted Allie Betts from donor relations manager to development officer and Roy Williams from program assistant to grants manager.

John Brooks has been named marketing manager at Risk Management Resources Inc., a third-party administrator for LCTA Workers’ Comp.
Brooks was a senior field representative at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD and previously was vice president of marketing at LEMIC Insurance Co.
Theatre Baton Rouge has elected to its board of directors Amy Lambert, Alan Tuttle, Aron Coates, Rhonda Zielinski, Lauren Regner, Ashley Porche, Laurie Cothern Wilson and Richard Roberts.
Theatre Baton Rouge offers more than 150 theatrical performances, workshops, classes and special events in great Baton Rouge Area each year.
Gov. Bobby Jindal has appointed to the Workforce Investment Council from the local area Charles Freeburgh, of Prairieville, vice president for advocacy for Axiall Corp., and Patrick Mulhearn, of Baton Rouge, executive director of studio operations for Celtic Media Centre.
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation has elected to its board of directors Joseph C. Giglio Jr., a lawyer with Liskow and Lewis; Bryan J. Hanks, president and owner of Beta Land Services; William A. Hendrix III, Lafayette market president of Whitney Bank; Henry C. Perret Jr., a lawyer with Perret Doise; and John Wright, a certified public accountant with Wright, Moore, DeHart, Dupuis and Hutchinson.
The foundation manages investments and serves as trustee of endowed funds and other private assets contributed for the benefit of the university.
