Bill Balhoff, managing director and chief executive officer of Postlethwaite & Netterville, was elected to the board of directors of the International Federation of Accountants.

Balhoff will represent the accountancy profession for the United States in the global organization.

Cox Communications has named Frances Lewis as director of customer care and Gerald “Jerry” Wipfli as vice president of the Baton Rouge Customer Care Center of Excellence for Tech Support.

Lewis was manager of order management for Cox Business and manager of Cox’s regional operations center supporting clients in Kansas; Arkansas; Omaha, Nebraska; Louisiana; Florida; and Georgia.

Wipfli was director of customer care for technical support for Cox in Omaha.


Danos in Gray has promoted James Callahan to vice president of finance; Mark Danos to vice president of project services; Stacey Gisclair to vice president of human resources; and Reed Peré to vice president of production services.

Callahan oversees the company’s domestic and international administration, finance and accounting activities. Danos supervises the project management, construction and fabrication divisions, responsible for all domestic and international deepwater, subsea, shelf and onshore projects. Gisclair has two decades of human resources experience.

Peré is responsible for the quality of work and adherence to safety policies of the company’s global production workforce.


Accounting and consulting firm Hannis T. Bourgeois LLP has named Debbie Moran as a senior manager in the firm’s tax practice in its New Orleans office. She will focus her practice on construction, restaurants, software developers and nonprofits.

Moran was senior manager at Ericksen Krentel & LaPorte LLP.

Ernst & Young LLP in New Orleans has promoted Johnathan Dobs, Alyssa Lare, Gary Lessell and Greg Terrebonne to manager in its assurance practice; Eric Chi, LaClaudia Everette, Courtney Farrington, Laura Frischhertz, Katelyn Greaud, Aimee Jackson, Sushant Jha, Melissa LeBato, MyLe Nguyen, Kara Oliver, Sean Robicheaux, John Rourke and Kayla Ursin to assurance seniors; Austin Dail, Micaela Holland, Ashley Hymel and Maria Solis-Zavala to senior in its tax practice; Ari Hickerson to senior in its fraud and investigation dispute services; Megan McAnelly to manager in its national advisory practice; and Zoe Zhou to senior in its advisory practice.

The managers were seniors and the seniors were staff members.

Former U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu has been appointed to the board of directors of CenturyLink Inc. in Monroe. Landrieu has not initially been appointed to serve on any board committee, but the board expects to do so as part of its regular 2016 committee assessment and appointment process.
