A medical supply company has sold its Baton Rouge distribution warehouse for $3.1 million.
MMS sold the property at 3401 Oak Villa Blvd. to AIC Income Fund Oak Villa LLC of Dallas, according to documents filed Monday with the East Baton Rouge clerk of court’s office.
Officials with AIC said MMS will continue to occupy the 62,223-square-foot building, but will now rent the property.
MMS, a Missouri company that sells everything from surgical gloves to exam room tables, bought the property in March 2007 for $2 million. It had been an Albertsons grocery store.
