Rejoice, Louisiana fast-food breakfast enthusiasts.

McDonald's will begin serving breakfast all day beginning in October, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The decision was approved in a vote by franchisees last week and confirmed Tuesday by a franchisee leadership council, the report said.

McDonald's stops serving breakfast at 10:30 a.m. local time.

McDonald’s USA President Mike Andres told the Journal that this is the company's biggest strategic move since it rolled out its McCafe line of drinks across in 2009.
