The second annual She Geauxs! Women's Leadership Conference begins at 9 a.m. today, Nov. 1. featuring speakers that include Beverly Thompson of Brooks Thompson Consulting, state Rep. Julie Stokes, and actress/comedian Lara Grice.

"We are excited to once again offer an opportunity that will bring together women of all personal and professional paths to create a community of support and encouragement that is dedicated to the advancement of all women," said Tracey Rizzuto, associate director of the LSU School of Leadership & Human Resource Development.

Topics of the conference include the pay gap, salary negotiation, work/life balance, diversity and inclusion, and more. Last year, around 200 people attended the conference.

The She Geauxs! Women’s Leadership Conference is produced by the LSU School of Leadership & Human Resource Development within the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education and in partnership with Junior League of Baton Rouge.
