The Salad Shop – a build-your-own salad and wrap restaurant founded in Baton Rouge – is set to open its second Baton Rouge location this fall in the Coursey Place Shopping Center, at 11445 Coursey Blvd.
And there may be more coming.
Owner Bradley Sanchez said in a news release that he plans to continue expansion into 2016, eyeing multiple unit openings both in the Baton Rouge market and beyond. The original location of The Salad Shop opened in October 2013 at the Acadian/Perkins Plaza off of Perkins Road.
“It’s taken us a little more than a year to open our second location because we really wanted to nail down the concept, process and quality,” Sanchez said. “I now feel that we’re in a great place for accelerated growth.”
The restaurant offers more than 50 ingredients for salads or wraps, as well as 16 house-made and locally sourced salad dressings. Sanchez said the restaurant plans to introduce an expanded menu and a catering menu in the coming months.
