Registration is open for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and Greater New Orleans Inc. joint trip to Orlando and Tampa, Fla.

This is the first time the two organizations have teamed up for a canvass trip. The trip will be held Nov. 3-5.

Adam Knapp, BRAC president and CEO, said Tampa and Orlando have much to teach Baton Rouge and New Orleans about working as a cohesive super region, especially in areas such as transportation, international trade and health care.

“In this unprecedented time of collaboration for our organizations and regions, we need a critical mass of leaders to help us gather pertinent information and give feedback on how we can work together for the betterment of the entire super-regional business community,” said Michael Hecht, president and CEO of GNO Inc.

The cost to attend the workshop is $2,200. The trip will be limited to between 125 to 150 participants, with a goal of having equal representation from Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
