The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board collected $951,605 in bonus revenue for the state in its August lease sale.

The board awarded 24 leases covering 2,806 acres, out of 35 nominated tracts covering more than 24,438 acres.

The board sold leases in Avoyelles, Caddo, Concordia, East Feliciana, Lafourche, Plaquemines, St. Helena and Terrebonne parishes.
