A building occupied by a Domino’s Pizza distribution facility near the Interstate 10-Highland Road intersection has been sold for just over $4.1 million.
The J.B. Levert Land Co. of Metairie bought the center in a deal that was filed Thursday with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s office. The seller was Robert A. Mantovani of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The 33,462-square-foot building is a hub for distributing pizza dough, sauce and toppings to Domino’s locations throughout Louisiana and in parts of Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. J.B. Levert bought the facility as a long-term investment. J.B. Levert’s roots go back to leasing land in Lafourche and St. Charles parishes to sugar cane farmers, but the company now owns more than 600,000 square feet of commercial real estate in Louisiana and across the South.
