The Acadian Square shopping center on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge has been sold to a group of Hammond investors for $885,000.
Shree Ganapati Airline LLC purchased the building at 10466 Airline Highway in a deal that was filed Friday with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s Office. The seller was G & L LLC of Prarieville. Shree Ganapati — the name refers to a Hindu deity — is made up of Neal Patel, Karen Patel and Krunal Patel, all of Hammond.
Benjamin Stalter, a vice president with Maestri-Murrell Commercial Real Estate in Baton Rouge, represented the buyers and said the new owners acquired Acadian Square as a long-term hold.
“There’s good value there,” said Stalter, noting the 9,796-square-foot center is 100 percent occupied. Some of the tenants include Louisiana Medical Clinic, a hair salon, a formal wear business and a comic book store.
