Bill Balhoff, managing director and CEO of Postlethwaite & Netterville APAC, has been honored with the Outstanding Visionary Award by the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
The award was based on his broad impact in the accounting industry and in the community through his leadership position at P&N and as chairman of the board of directors of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The Louisiana Physical Therapy Association has presented Virginia Davis the Hall of Fame Award and presented Cristina Faucheux the 2014 Dave Warner Distinguished Service Award.
Davis is president and owner of Crescent City Physical Therapy in New Orleans and is a founder of Physical Therapy Provider Network Inc., a statewide network of physical and occupational therapist owned outpatient clinics.
Faucheux is an owner and vice president of Moreau Physical Therapy of Baton Rouge, Zachary, Port Barre and Opelousas and serves on the board of Physical Therapy Provider Network Inc.
The Hall of Fame Award honors a physical therapist for lifetime achievement in outstanding dedication, service, leadership and vision for the physical therapy profession.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding dedication, service and exemplary leadership to the physical therapy profession.
The Baton Rouge Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers has presented annual awards recognizing those who excel in their contribution to the society. The award recpients are Outreach Award to Danielle Welborn, of LSU-Facility Services; Outstanding Young Civil Engineer to Jennifer Shortess, of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority; Outstanding Civil Engineer to Jeffrey Duplantis, of MWH Americas; Educator of the Year to Kerry Reed, of LSU; Lifetime Achievement Award to Ken Perret, of Good Roads; and Wall of Fame Award to Ara Arman, of GEC Inc.

Adams and Reese received the 2014 Corporate Commitment to Diversity Award from the New Orleans Society for Human Resource Management.
The award recognizes outstanding practices of diversity initiatives and awareness in the workplace and the community.
The law firm also has received the 2014 Louisiana State Bar Association Human Rights Award for the firm’s diversity efforts and for promoting diversity in the legal profession.
Danos in Larose has been recognized with the annual Pro Patria Award by the Louisiana Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office.
The award recognizes a company’s extraordinary support of employees who serve in the Louisiana National Guard and Reserve.
In addition to the Pro Patria Award, Danos has also received the Department of Defense’s Above and Beyond Award, Seven Seals Award and was a finalist for the national Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award.
